Ulsan has been a region closely related to whales since ancient times. In the Daegok-ri Bangudae Petroglyph, there are depictions of large whales such as northern right whales, sperm whales, and humpback whales, as well as dolphins. The scene of capturing whales is also carved in detail.

The ink reminds us of a whale swimming in the calm sea with a calm navy blue with no sheen. You can see some shading when ink is spread out . Overall, the chroma is low in navy blue, reminiscent of the tranquil and deep sea.
